Hey, I'm Miguel!

Hi there! As a queer, black professional artist, Truthteller and Future Historian with roots in rural, colonial Saskatchewan, my work is grounded in explorations of justice, community, and care.

My explorations have grown to include positive reframings/explorations of justice. As Toni Cade Bambara wrote in the Salt Eaters, it’s the role of an artist to “make the revolution irresistible.”

When I’m not imagining and capturing the revolution in art, I’m baking, thrifting, or listening to my vinyl collection. You can listen along with me below!
