For Immediate Release: Sept. 20th, 2022 SUPERNOVA PRESS BOOK LAUNCH – Miguel A. Fenrich’s 2nd novel is set to release in January on Friday the 13th, 2023. The release will be celbrated with a free book launch at the North Battleford Public Library at 5 pm, with exerpts from the novel read, a Q&A, and refreshments served. The novel is a paranormal horror, set in the isolated Saskatchewan prairie at the start of the great depression and is an in-depth view of society then, and the world at the time. THE HOMESTEADERS – In the late 1920s, a Germany family moves to the isolated Canadian prairie in search of a fresh start seperate from their unfortunate past. Their homesteading is short lived when their lives are threatened by unseen forces living on the Canadian Prairie, set to uproot them again. MIGUEL A. FENRICH – Miguel A. Fenrich is a Saskatchewan writer, photographer, and storyteller who engages the questions of our time by tackling thought-provoking topics while educating and entertaining via genre fiction novels. He is the author of Blue: A Novel, owner of Battleford’s newset publishing company Supernova Press, and finished his first body of photographic work in 2020 titled Prairie Perspectives. He currently works as a reporter for the Battleford’s News-Optimist, and is writing his second book, The Homesteaders, a 1930s prairie horror novel set to release in January, on Friday the 13th, 2023.
